Hey Irradiati and Friends,

Sorry for the long delay in sending out the Upcoming Events list and thanks for your patience. I just needed to take a break. I'll try to resume the list on a regular basis. And what better cause for sending an email than to announce PicNuke IX
at the Trojan Nuclear Power facility. Details are listed below. As always, if you know of an event or updated information
for something on the list please let me know.

I hope all of you are doing well.

-Joe

OPEN MIKE LISTING:
THE RED AND BLACK CAFE OPEN MIKE
The Irradiated open mike continues at The Red and Black Cafe on the First Monday of the month, from 8 to 10 pm with a new Host. Please support my fellow Irradiati, Ed Morris. Ed has assumed duties as regular host. So, never fear, this reading is in good hands and will continue. The Red and Black Cafe is located on SE Division and 22nd. Join us for some good, wholesome fun, and read a poem or three while you're there.

The Sellwood Poetry Reading:
A relaxing open mic down south in Sellwood. All readers and musicians are welcome to share their art. It's been largely a community reading, but we'd love to have more people know about it and join in our little creative exchange. It's at the Ugly Mug on 8017 SE 13th Ave (couple blocks north of Tacoma St.), and it starts at 7PM on the last Tuesday of every month.

Open Mic at the Ross Island Grocery:
This open mic's every Friday, at around 8PM I believe, at the Ross Island Grocery on 3338 SW Corbett Ave. Might be a just a local neighborhood thing, but check it out and see what's up.

Broken Word Reading
Arlo hosts Broken Word, Tuesdays at 7:30 pm at the Alberta Street Public
House (NE 11th & Alberta). One of the really cool features about the bar is
the soundproofed quality between the room with the reading, the outdoor smoking area
and the bar proper. drunken conversations can go full-force at the bar without remotely
disturbing the read or the people who want to hear the work. definitely check it out if
you get a chance.
